5. Product characteristics of Full screen insulated aluminum alloy tubular busbar
The Full screen insulated aluminum alloy tubular busbar has the following advantages over traditional busbars:
1) Large current carrying capacity
The main body of the tubular busbar is hollow copper tube or aluminum alloy tube. The surface area is large, relative to the cable and rectangular busbar.
The current density distribution on the conductor surface is uniform, and the highest rated current can reach 12000A.
2) Good insulation performance, small space occupation and wide application scope.
Tube busbar are insulated by sealed composite shielding. The grounding potential of the enclosure is zero, and the electric field distribution on the busbar surface is uniform.
Electrical insulation performance is strong. It can be directly passed through cable trench, cable interlayer and cable tunnel.
Conventional busbar (rectangular busbar and Separated-phase closed busbar) usually have higher requirements for environment and space.
Therefore, in many places where the environment is harsh and the space is narrow, the use of conventional busbar is greatly limited or even impossible to use. The tubular insulated busbar, fearless of harsh environment and occupying very little space for installation, is especially conducive to the layout in narrow space, and its application scope is wider and more reliable.
3) High mechanical strength.
The allowable stress of the main body of the tubular busbar is four times of that of the rectangular busbar. It can withstand large short circuit current and high mechanical strength.
So that the maximum length of busbar support can reach 8 meters.
4) Good heat dissipation, Low Temperature Rise
The tubular busbar is a hollow conductor, and there are ventilation holes at both ends of the bus bar.The inner diameter air channel can naturally form hot air convection.
The heat dissipation condition is better than that of the conventional busbar.
5) Low loss
The shape of the tubular busbar determines that its surface skin effect coefficient is low,Kf≤1 and the AC resistance is small.
So the bus power loss is small. The dielectric loss of the insulating layer of the composite shielded insulated busbar is less than 0.01%.
6) High heat resistance of insulating materials.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is the main insulating material of tubular insulated busbar. It has excellent electrical and chemical stability.
It can work normally in the temperature range of -200℃~+200℃ with low dielectric loss, flame retardant, aging resistance and other insulation materials,the service life of the product is more than 30 years.
7) Strong resistance to electrical shock.
The results of dynamic stability test show that the copper tube master with voltage 10KV and rated current 4000A can withstand 63KA (4S) short circuit current impact.
The busbar can be directly fixed on the steel frame or concrete bracket, and the wall bushing and the post insulator can be eliminated,has strong anti vibration ability.
8) Free from environmental interference and high reliability.
Each phase of the tubular busbar is closed and shielded, and there is no condensation inside, and the external humidity is eliminated,the ground and interphase short circuit faults caused by dust and foreign objects are highly reliable.
9) The busbar structure is simple, clear, easy to install and free from maintenance.
Tubular busbar structure is similar to cable, reliable insulation and high safety. Once installation is successful, life is free of maintenance.
